2019 IRS Plan Maximums & Limits

Health FSA

(Flexible Spending Account) 

Limit is $2,700 for 2019 - a $50 boost over 2018

FSA contributions work on an individual basis. As a result, each spouse may contribute up to the new limit. 

Dependent Care FSA

 

The annual maximum limit has remained unchanged at $5,000 unless married filing separately.

401(k) & 403(b)

Retirement Savings Plans

The maximum limit for employees contributing to a 401(k), 403(b) or 457 plan has been increased to $19,000, an increase of $500 from 2018.

Age 50+ Catch-up contribution remains unchanged at $6,000.

Transit & Parking

The monthly contribution limit for transit and parking has increased to $265.
